This position is a member of the Faculty Practice IS Clinical Application team. This team is directly responsible for implementing, supporting and applying the ambulatory electronic medical record (EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart, Clarity, clinical interfaces Haiku/Canto, Phoenix and other third-party software). The ambulatory electronic record serves the information needs of over 1,000 academic health care providers in 29 clinics. Will independently analyze and document clinic workflows, perform interface conversion analyses, build and maintain the EMR application, coordinate software updates, support new software releases, test application software and interfaces, develop and maintain documentation, establish and maintain change control procedures, assist with user training and set standards and conventions. Must earn EpicCare Ambulatory Admin certification within six months of hire and fulfill re-certification requirements annually. Expenses associated with certification and re-certification will be paid by employer. The person holding this position will share rotating on-call responsibilities with other members of the Clinical Applications team.

NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
